Research & Development Educator
Patricia Berkson grew up alongside her grandmother cooking and received her first cookbook at the age of 12. After reading it from cover to cover and teaching herself to prepare meals for her family, Patricia developed a love for the kitchen and especially for baking and pastry. As a teenager, Patricia worked in a Chicago neighborhood bakery learning and developing her craft. Through her countless culinary experiences, culinary travels, and many years of hosting elaborate dinner parties with all of the bells & whistles, Patricia jumped at the opportunity to further her expertise and study in the L’Art de la Pâtisserie program at The French Pastry School. After graduation, Patricia volunteered for a plethora of events and galas and now shares her knowledge and critical insights as one of The Butter Book’s Research & Development Educators.
