Paul Strabbing is a freelance food photographer and owner of Paul Strabbing Photography based in Chicago. For over 18 years, he has been shooting the culinary scene for corporations such as Barry Callebaut USA, Kraft Foods, The Quaker Oats Company, Tyson Foods, Hillshire Brands, US Foods and Walgreens. Paul’s keen eye and impeccable attention to detail have led him to photograph around the world, including the documentation of Pastry Team USA’s experience at the Coupe de Monde de Pâtisserie in Lyon. He is also recognized for his photos in “The Art of French Pastry” with Jacquy Pfeiffer, winner of the James Beard Award for Best Cookbook, Dessert & Baking. Paul serves as The Butter Book’s dynamic and creative photographer who captures the essence and beauty of our pastry creations.
